Nvidia Share Price Momentum Pushes Market Cap to $5.78T

Nvidia Corp., a US-based semiconductor and computing company, has seen share-price momentum push the AI hardware maker’s market capitalisation slightly above $5.78 trillion.

Nvidia Corp. is currently trading at $239.72, with a 24-hour trading volume of $86.54 million, according to exchange data.  The asset’s market cap reached $5.78 trillion in its latest rally, after moving 0.20% in the last day.

Tokenised Nvidia Corp is trading at $239.82, with a tokenised market cap of $147.23M and a 24-hour trading volume of $119.98 million. The tokenised asset has moved -1.77% in the past 24 hours.

Originally built for the gaming market, NVIDIA now powers global AI models, cloud data centres, autonomous vehicles, and industrial simulations. Its rapid expansion into data infrastructure has redefined its role in modern computing.

Recently, NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) reported revenue for the second quarter ended July 26, 2026, of $96.2 billion, up 18% from the previous quarter and up 106% from a year ago.

For the quarter, GAAP and non-GAAP gross margins were both 75.0%. GAAP and non-GAAP earnings per diluted share were $2.46 and $2.22, respectively.

“AI has reached its inflection point. It’s doing useful work. Its tokens are productive and profitable. Now, compute is revenue,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA.

NVIDIA’s CEO told investors at a conference that demand is accelerating. “This time last year, one lab alone was driving the buildout; we have a golden age of new AI labs and startups, multiple frontier labs scaling in parallel, a thriving open-model ecosystem and physical AI coming online — with strong momentum across the U.S. and around the world”.

The AI infrastructure buildout is at full steam. Vera Rubin, now in full production, was built to power exactly this moment, Huang said.

During the second quarter of fiscal 2027, NVIDIA returned approximately $26.0 billion to shareholders through share repurchases and cash dividends.

As of the end of the second quarter, the company had approximately $99.0 billion remaining under its share repurchase authorisation.

NVIDIA paid a quarterly cash dividend of $0.25 per share on October 1, 2026, to all shareholders of record on September 10, 2026. AI Poses Risks to Financial Markets, Bank of England Chief Warns
