XRP Establishes Price Floor Ahead of Evernorth Nasdaq Listing
Ripple (XRP) continues to defend the $1.50 level, posting a 0.5% gain on Tuesday and slightly outperforming a flat broader market, driven mainly by a modest beta move with Bitcoin.
XRP has repeatedly held its ground and refused to fall below this price range, though it has also consistently faced rejection between $1.55 and $1.59.
XRP’s gain mirrors Bitcoin’s modest uptick, as the total crypto market cap rose 0.41%.
The move lacked a single macro driver but occurred amid resilient market sentiment (Fear & Greed at 67), despite headwinds such as a strong U.S. dollar and spot Bitcoin ETF outflows.
XRP’s price action wasn’t driven by XRP-specific news but by its correlation with the broader market’s slight risk-on drift. Bitcoin’s ability to hold above $85,000 may drive re-rating, as a breakdown could pull XRP lower.
Market reports suggest that community approval of Clearpool’s migration from Ethereum to the XRP Ledger provided a positive narrative, fuelling buying interest.
However, the migration is planned for Q4 2026 and involves lending in Ripple’s stablecoin (RLUSD), not direct demand for XRP.
The news supports long-term network utility growth but is unlikely to directly drive the 24-hour price move, given its indirect demand mechanism.
XRP is compressing in a well-defined $1.45–$1.55 range. Technicals show neutral momentum (RSI 57) and price trading above key moving averages, supporting the consolidation structure.
Traders said the immediate bias is neutral-range, awaiting a catalyst for a directional break. Evernorth (XRPN) is set to list on Nasdaq on October 8, and analysts are projecting a spike in XRP’s price amid rising expectations.
If it generates bullish sentiment and buying in XRP, a breakout above $1.55 could target the next resistance at $1.63. Failure to hold the $1.45 support could lead to a swift move toward the 50-day average near $1.38.
XRP’s minor gain is best explained by its beta to a steady Bitcoin, with supportive ecosystem news providing a backdrop rather than a direct catalyst. XRP Climbs as Ex-Ripple CTO Says Token Could Top Bitcoin
