NVIDIA Tokenised Stock Climbs to $235 on AI Growth Prospects
Nvidia tokenised stock (Robinhood) rose to $235, bolstered by increased activity, with trading volume up 42% in 24 hours on AI growth prospects. Trading data showed that NVIDIA shares reached a new 52-week high, trading at $236.59 and up about 2.5% on Friday.
The move followed strong quarterly results, with revenue up 105.9% year over year and earnings per share (EPS) exceeding analyst expectations.
The company declared a quarterly dividend, which was paid on Thursday, October 1st. Stockholders of record on Thursday, September 10th were issued a $0.25 dividend.
This represents a $1.00 annualised dividend and a 0.4% dividend yield. NVIDIA announced that its board approved a stock repurchase plan on Monday, September 28th, authorising the company to repurchase $150.00 billion worth of shares.
This authorisation allows the computer hardware maker to repurchase up to 2.8% of its shares through open market purchases. Share repurchase plans generally signal that the company’s board of directors believes its shares are undervalued.
The tokenised stock is tapping strength from NVIDIA’s share price, which peaked at an all-time high during the week on a positive outlook for memory chips.
Analysts remain bullish on NVIDIA’s AI growth prospects. Morgan Stanley reiterated its top-pick status with a $300 target price, while other firms raised or maintained their targets as hyperscaler demand and AI infrastructure spending accelerate.
Meme coin trading on Robinhood Chain remains highly volatile. Notable tokens like Artificial Inu (paired against NVDA) are down more than 10%, but trading activity continues to lock more NVDA tokens into liquidity pools.
Data shows NVIDIA is the leading individual stock token on Robinhood Chain, with approximately $20.1 million in assets under management.
It ranks second only to a tokenised S&P 500 index fund. Crucially, nearly half of its tokenised market cap is actively deployed in DeFi lending and liquidity protocols.
This is bullish for NVDA’s on-chain representation. It signals strong, genuine retail demand for AI exposure is migrating to composable tokenised assets, deepening its liquidity and integration within the crypto-native financial system beyond mere speculation.
Tokenised stock gained traction after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission introduced a conditional five-year “Innovation Exemption” for qualifying Tokenised Securities Venues.
The framework provides a regulatory pathway for on-chain trading of tokenised stocks but requires tokens to confer all traditional shareholder rights, drawing a clear line against synthetic trackers.
This is a cautiously positive long-term development. It provides a potential framework for the regulated growth of products like tokenised NVDA, but imposes strict compliance burdens on platforms regarding custody, shareholder rights, and trading halts.
NVDA’s token continues to transition from a simple tracking asset to the cornerstone of Robinhood Chain’s DeFi activity, though its new role ties it more closely to crypto’s speculative cycles. NVIDIA Tokenised bStocks Rises, Binance Enables Bots Trading Toolkit
