Meta Tokenised bStocks Rises 10% as Binance Opens Access to MT

Meta Tokenised bStocks (METAB) price rose by 10.23% in 24 hours to $739.62 on Monday, significantly outperforming the broader market rally, driven primarily by a major utility expansion for tokenised stocks.

It shows strong alpha, moving independently of Bitcoin’s +5.56% gain after Binance opened margin trading (MT) with METAB as collateral.

On September 21, Binance opened its bStocks collateral functionality to all eligible users, including non-VIP accounts.

Previously restricted, this allows a broader user base to use tokenised stocks like METAB as collateral for margin trading and hedging, directly increasing its functional demand.

The upgrade transforms METAB from a simple tracking asset into a productive financial tool within crypto portfolios. Adoption metrics will show whether this drives an increase in on-chain transfer volume, which had previously been declining.

The tokenised stock/RWA sector is attracting capital. News highlights surging holder counts on platforms like Coinbase Base and record cumulative trading volume for bStocks ($30 billion since June).

Concurrently, a supportive macro move saw the total crypto market cap rise by 4.63% amid “Greed” sentiment, as the index reached 79. METAB is riding a wave of narrative-driven capital into tokenised assets, amplified by positive market-wide sentiment.

The immediate catalyst is fresh, but sustainability depends on continued sector interest. The price surged on a 78% increase in volume, with transaction value at $4.09 million, suggesting strong buying conviction.

The trend is bullish but extended after a 10% single-day move. A hold above the $700 support level would confirm continuation toward $800.

However, technical traders anticipate that a break below $700 could signal profit-taking and a pullback toward the $650 area.

METAB’s surge is rooted in a tangible utility upgrade, not just speculation, providing a firmer foundation for its gains. Traders are watching whether the expanded collateral utility translates into sustained on-chain activity and holder growth over the next week.
