Binance Coin Rises on Pasteur Upgrade, Kalshi Listing Optimism

Binance Coin (BNB) price rose by 0.97% to $728.92, outperforming a declining Bitcoin, primarily driven by positive sentiment around its network’s fundamental upgrades and scalability roadmap.

BNB’s movement reflects bullish ecosystem developments, including the recent Pasteur upgrade that doubled network throughput, fueling investor confidence in BNB Chain’s long-term utility.

The primary driver is sustained optimism around BNB Chain’s infrastructure. Social media highlights the recent Pasteur upgrade, which doubled transactions per block, increasing throughput and accelerating finality.

Analysts note this “quiet infrastructure upgrade” sets the stage for future adoption, particularly for AI and agentic trading. Combined with ongoing quarterly token burns, this reinforces a bullish narrative focused on utility and scarcity.

The price rise reflects confidence in the network’s fundamental improvements, not just speculative trading.

A secondary boost came from Kalshi, a CFTC-regulated platform, launching perpetual futures contracts for BNB on September 4, offering U.S. traders up to 4.5x leverage.

This expands regulated access, a positive signal. Concurrently, the broader Altcoin Season Index rose 2.78%, indicating mild capital rotation from Bitcoin into alts, which benefited BNB. The move was amplified by new institutional product access and a favourable shift in market rotation.

BNB faces immediate resistance at the $730–$745 zone, a level it has tested recently. The 7-day RSI of 61.81 suggests room for further upside before becoming overbought. Support is firm at $690–$700, backed by the 20-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) near $668.

The structure remains bullish above $700, but a decisive break above $745 is needed to confirm a new leg higher toward $760. The U.S. August jobs report due; a soft reading could boost risk assets, while a strong one may pressure the broader crypto market and test BNB’s resilience.

BNB’s gain is anchored in tangible network progress, giving it relative strength against a weaker Bitcoin. The combination of infrastructure upgrades and new regulated products provides a solid foundation. #Binance Coin Rises on Pasteur Upgrade, Kalshi Listing Optimism# Binance Coin Climbs 5.5% as BNB Trading Volume Spikes
