Coinbase Wrapped XRP Climbs 3% to $1.52 as Crypto Rally
Coinbase Wrapped XRP (CBXRP) is up 3.05% to $1.52, closely tracking the broader crypto rally. The move is primarily driven by strong beta to the surging Bitcoin and XRP markets, fueled by macro optimism and institutional inflows.
CBXRP’s gain mirrors the strong performance of its underlying asset, with trading data showing that XRP’s price is up +3.28% in 24 hours on Tuesday.
The gain was also supported by over $600 million in spot Bitcoin ETF inflows last week and by renewed regulatory optimism following President Trump’s urging that Congress pass the Clarity Act.
The total crypto market cap rose 3.45% to $2.71 trillion, supported by positive price action in top digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance Coin.
CBXRP acted as a leveraged proxy for XRP, moving in lockstep with the dominant market trend rather than on its own catalyst.
Traders said Ripple’s entry into the $10 billion private credit market bolstered overall sentiment among holders ahead of the US Treasury bond buyback programme in September.
Technically, XRP’s price action signals strong bullish momentum, though it also flags overbought conditions that could precede a period of consolidation.
The immediate trend hinges on Bitcoin’s ability to sustain its breakout. The key trigger is Bitcoin’s performance relative to its 200-day moving average (recently at $69,050), which it reclaimed last week, a rare bullish signal.
CBXRP is in a bullish trend but vulnerable to a market-wide correction if momentum falters. CBXRP is holding the $1.50 level; a break below could see a swift retreat toward the 7-day simple moving average at $1.33.
CBXRP’s rise is a function of a powerful, macro-driven crypto rally, with its fate tied to Bitcoin and to the continued strength of native XRP. XRP Up as Volante Integrates Ripple into FedNow Payments
