Apple Beats Q3 Earnings Expectations, EPS Surges 29%

Apple released its results for Q3 2026, ending June 30, 2026. The company reported strong financial performance, with revenue up 16% year-over-year to $109.4 billion, exceeding expectations of $108.9 billion.

Earnings also grew by 28.7%, reaching $2.02 per share (EPS), surpassing the forecast of $1.89. The company’s revenue growth was driven by strong demand for both products and services across various regions.

Notably, the iPhone outperformed estimates and achieved a record for June quarter sales, providing stability for the overall group.

The Mac line also exceeded consensus estimates, while the Wearables, Home & Accessories category was generally in line with expectations.

However, the iPad segment underperformed and fell short of expectations, partly due to challenging year-over-year comparisons.

Despite strong momentum in China, intense local competition has made it difficult for Apple to increase market share in the region.

The company benefited from operational efficiency, a favourable pricing mix, and strict cost management, leading to significant margin expansion and earnings growth.

Apple is in a strong cash position, supported by rising operating and free cash flows, and maintains controlled debt levels, indicating a healthy financial standing.

While guidance suggests potential foreign exchange challenges and supply constraints in the upcoming quarters, Apple remains focused on growth by enhancing its product offerings.

These include the all-new Siri AI and the latest software innovations with important child safety features. The company’s commitment to capital return is evident in a higher year-over-year dividend payout.

Currently, Apple is trading at a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 35, a premium compared to its peers and historical averages.

This multiple is supported by the company’s robust capital allocation strategy, improving gross margins, and early monetisation opportunities for Apple Intelligence. #Apple Beats Q3 Earnings Expectations, EPS Surges 29%# Investors Optimistic Ahead of Apple Inc. Q3 Earnings
