Moniepoint’s microfinance banking unit leveraged alternative data points, such as transaction histories and payment behaviors, to extend credit to businesses that traditional banks often overlook .
According to Moniepoint’s 2025 Year in Review report, businesses that accessed credit experienced an average growth of 36%, highlighting the positive impact of financial inclusion on Nigeria’s economy.
The company’s services have been utilized by over 6 million active businesses, ranging from provision stores and supermarkets to building materials sellers .
