    Skyway Aviation Trades at 52-Week High Ahead of Dividend Payment

    Skyway Aviation Handling Company Plc market value flatlined which is at 52-week high in the equities market ahead of dividend payment. According to data from the Nigerian Exchange, the aviation handling company N66.4 share price has remained unchanged in the last seven trading sessions.

    The company is trading at its highest price level reached in the equities market, a significant distance to its lowest price of N20.4 in 12 months. Skyway Aviation hare price reflects its shareholders perception about the company earnings outlook and dividend expectations. Its 1.353 billion shares outstanding in the Nigerian market were valued at N89.877 billion, according to data from the local bourse.

    Following an impressive earnings performance in 2024, the board of directors proposed to pay 60 kobo final dividend to shareholders. Subject to appropriate withholding tax and approval, the company told the Nigerian Exchange the amount will be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on 30th May 2025.

    “On June 26, 2025 dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders”, according to the company regulatory filing. Details from its audited report showed profit after tax settled at N4.833 billion in 2024, up by 147% from N1.954 billion in FY2023. Its earning per share rose by 145% year on year to N3.57 due to improved performance from N1.46 in 2023. #Skyway Aviation Trades at 52-Week High Ahead of Dividend Payment#
