XRP Price Edges Higher as Investors Rack Up Spot ETFs

Ripple (XRP) is up about 2% to $1.3996 over the past 24 hours, slightly outperforming a broadly flat crypto market, driven primarily by a key regulatory milestone and strong ETF inflows.

The market has maintained momentum amid turbulent trading waves, with investors turning to the XRP spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) to boost their positions.

Latest data update revealed that spot XRP ETFs pulled in $110.49 million in net inflows for the week ending August 28, their strongest weekly haul of 2026 by a wide margin.  The surge pushed cumulative net inflows to $1.66 billion and total net assets to $1.44 billion across all funds.

The amount pulled this week more than doubled the previous top mark of $60.5 million from mid-May 2026, though it still trails the all-time high of $243.95 million set in late November 2025.

XRP’s position was strengthened by optimism surrounding Evernorth’s Nasdaq listing. The US SEC declared Evernorth’s Form S-4 registration effective on August 27, clearing the path for its merger and Nasdaq listing under the ticker “XRPN”.

This creates a regulated, publicly traded vehicle for holding and deploying XRP, signalling growing institutional acceptance. The move is less about immediate buying pressure and more about improving XRP’s long-term investment narrative for traditional finance.

The shareholder vote is scheduled for September 30.

The total crypto market cap rose 0.39%, with Bitcoin up 0.42%. XRP’s move aligns with this modest positive drift. Concurrently, the XRP Ledger’s fixCleanup3_3_0 amendment reached 82.86% validator support, targeting AMM and DEX improvements.

The price found stability within a calm market, aided by ongoing technical development. The immediate technical structure hinges on the $1.37 support.

Holding this level could fuel a retest of the Fibonacci 38.2% resistance at $1.42. The key upcoming event is the Evernorth shareholder vote on September 30, which will determine if the Nasdaq listing proceeds.

The near-term bias is cautiously neutral, awaiting confirmation from either the $1.37 support or the Evernorth vote. A sustained break above $1.42 to signal renewed bullish momentum.

The 24h gain is anchored by a concrete regulatory step for institutional adoption, supplemented by steady market conditions. The outcome of the Evernorth shareholder vote on September 30, which will test the strength of the institutional demand thesis.
