Tokenised bStocks NVDAB Rises as Nvidia Hits All-Time High
NVIDIA Tokenised bStocks (NVDAB) climbed 0.5% to $234.51, moving independently of a downturn in the crypto market and driven mainly by its underlying asset, Nvidia stock, which hit a record high.
Traders said this reflects direct exposure to traditional equity performance.
The tokenised bstocks align with the underlying equity surge – Nvidia shares reached an all-time high, driven by a major analyst upgrade and supportive macro data.
Nvidia’s stock (NVDA) hit a record intraday high of $237.88 on October 2 on strong earnings bets. The stock rally followed Morgan Stanley reinstating Nvidia as its top semiconductor stock earlier in the day, citing a strong product cycle and AI demand.
The last time Nvidia’s share price was this high was in May, when the company’s stock price surged 20% in seven days.
Concurrently, a weaker-than-expected U.S. jobs report reduced fears of another Fed rate hike, supporting growth stocks like Nvidia. As a tokenised stock, NVDAB’s price is designed to track this underlying equity movement.
The token’s rise reflects traditional market forces, not crypto-specific speculation. Nvidia’s Q3 earnings, expected in November, will update Rubin GPU demand and revenue guidance.
While equity performance is the primary driver, the tokenised stock sector is seeing increased integration. For instance, Aave V4 now accepts tokenised Nvidia stock as loan collateral.
Furthermore, platforms like Robinhood Chain are seeing liquidity pools pairing these tokens with memecoins. This expands their use cases beyond simple tracking.
These developments could attract incremental demand from crypto-native users seeking leveraged exposure or yield, though the impact is secondary to the equity move.
Technical traders said NVDAB’s outlook is tightly linked to Nvidia’s stock trajectory and broader macro sentiment. The immediate technical structure shows support near $230, with the recent high around $237 acting as resistance.
The trend is cautiously bullish, contingent on Nvidia maintaining its momentum. A failure in the underlying stock would likely pressure the token, crypto analysts said.
A daily close above $238 would confirm breakout strength, while a drop below its 20-day moving average would be a warning sign.
The token’s rise is firmly rooted in its underlying asset’s record performance, amplified by its growing utility in the DeFi ecosystem. Cardano Extends Rally on RealFi Launch, Payments Partnership
