Pathway Advisors Limited has announced the successful arrangement and completion of the ₦10 billion Series 1 Commercial Paper (CP) Issuance by MKH Properties Limited, under the Company’s newly registered ₦30 billion Commercial Paper Programme.

In an official statement, the SEC registered investment firm said the ₦10 billion Offer attracted subscriptions of ₦11.07 billion, representing 110.7% subscription, underscoring institutional investors’ strong confidence in MKH Properties’ business, growth prospects, and strategic direction.

The Company will deploy the net proceeds toward working capital requirements and completing ongoing projects, supporting continued expansion and project execution.

The strong response demonstrates investor confidence in MKH Properties Limited, its business fundamentals, growth prospects, and strategic direction, as well as the attractiveness of the structured funding opportunity presented to the market.

Commenting on the transaction, Mr. Adekunle Alade MBA, FCA, M.CIoD, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pathway Advisors, said:

“We are delighted to have acted as Transaction Sponsor, Financial Adviser, Lead Issuing House and Arranger to MKH Properties Limited on its debuts  ₦10 billion Commercial Paper Offer.

The oversubscription reflects the enduring confidence investors place in the Company’s financial performance, corporate governance, and creditworthiness. We are grateful to the Board and Management of MKH Properties Limited for the trust they have shown us, and we look forward to partnering with the Company on future Series under its ₦30 billion Programme.

The robust demand also points to the growing appetite among institutional investors for quality investment opportunities backed by credible sponsors, sound fundamentals and transparent governance.”

Pathway Advisors extends its profound appreciation to the institutional investors whose trust, confidence and strong participation contributed significantly to the success of the transaction. The firm also acknowledges and appreciates the contributions of the other joint arrangers to the successful completion of the issuance.

Commenting on the transaction, Dr. Muibi Kehinde Hammed, Chief Executive Officer of MKH Properties Limited, described the successful issuance as an important milestone in the Company’s growth journey.

“The successful outcome is significant for MKH Properties. This is more than the successful closing of a ₦10 billion Series 1; it is the successful completion of our first step in this market, and we are proud of the confidence investors have shown in our business.

To have our first Series oversubscribed is a milestone we do not take lightly. We are grateful to every investor who participated in Series 1 and to everyone who has continued to invest in our existing projects.

For us, raising the capital is only one part of the journey. What matters now is what we do with it. We intend to deploy the funds responsibly towards expansion and project execution, and we are committed to ensuring that our stakeholders see the results of that investment in the projects we deliver.”

Dr. Hammed also expressed the Company’s appreciation to Pathway Advisors Limited for its role in the transaction. “Special thanks to Pathway Advisors Limited, our Financial Adviser, Lead Issuing House and Arranger, for its central role in bringing this transaction to a successful close.

“We also appreciate other transaction parties for their contribution towards the success of the offer. We remain focused on deploying the funds responsibly to strengthen our operations, drive sustainable growth and create long-term value for our stakeholders.”
