NVDAB Rises as Investors Begin to Borrow USDC with Nvidia Shares

NVIDIA Tokenised bStocks (NVDAB) price climbed 0.63% to $227.70 on Tuesday, primarily driven by a utility boost from new DeFi integration.

Trading volume inched higher sharply on sustained buyer conviction, rising by approximately 37% on the day, with transaction value settling at $25 million.

The tokenised stock linked to Nvidia’s price move appears modest and flow-driven rather than a reaction to a major Nvidia-specific corporate catalyst.

Enhanced utility via Aave’s lending market, which now offers incentives for using tokenised Nvidia shares as collateral.

Aave DAO approved incentives on October 13 for the Coinbase Tokenised Stocks market on Base, where eligible users can supply tokenised Nvidia shares (NVDAc) as collateral to borrow USDC.

This integration adds a new utility layer, potentially increasing demand for the tokenised asset from DeFi participants seeking yield or leverage.

The price uptick is likely a direct response to this ecosystem development, which expands the token’s utility beyond simple equity exposure.

According to cryptocurrency analysts, growth in NVDAB’s collateral deposits within Aave V4’s Equities Hub would confirm utility-driven demand.

The move aligns with a slight positive drift in the broader market, where Bitcoin gained 0.66% and total crypto market cap rose 0.26%. Given the lack of extreme volume or derivatives activity specific to NVDAB, the move appears consistent with general market flows.

In the absence of a stronger catalyst, the token’s performance is largely tied to the direction of major crypto benchmarks. The immediate catalyst is the Aave incentive program, which is ongoing.

The key level to watch is support near $225, which has acted as a pivot recently. If buying interest linked to the new utility holds, a test of the October high near $240 is possible.

However, the token remains within its broader multi-week range, and a failure to hold $225 could see a retreat toward the $215–$220 zone. The broader market’s direction, particularly ahead of key U.S. inflation data, will be a major influence.

Traders said the outlook is cautiously positive but range-bound, dependent on real adoption of the new collateral feature. Daily trading volume trends: a sustained increase would signal stronger conviction behind the move.

The price rise is a rational, modest reaction to improved DeFi utility, amplified by a stable broader market. #NVDAB Rises as Investors Begin to Borrow USDC with Nvidia Shares
