    EKEDC Restores Vending Services after Successful System Upgrade

    Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) is pleased to announce the full restoration of its vending services following a seamless migration to a new, state-of-the-art platform designed to enhance operations and significantly elevate customer experience to a new height.

    Following the brief transition period, the upgraded platform is now live, empowering customers with unparalleled convenience and transparency.

    The new platform introduces several key features, including Self-Service Portal where customers can now access their accounts to view vending history, consumption patterns, and other vital information.

    It also includes Enhanced Complaint Tracking, a streamlined system which allows customers to monitor the status of their complaints easily and an improved user experience, the upgraded platform ensures smoother and efficient service delivery.

    The platform also has meter Data/billing management: to enhance meter data management, monitoring and improves our billing system.

    In addition, the system was upgraded to include streamlined workflow automation, allowing the team to focus on delivering a superior customer experience.

    EKEDC appreciates its customers’ patience and understanding during the transition period, which lasted from 6 PM on Friday, October 18, to 6 AM on Monday, October 21, 2024. The temporary downtime was necessary to facilitate the upgrade and ensure the optimal performance of the new platform.

    According to the Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Rekhiat Momoh “The team is excited to unveil this innovative platform, which reflects our commitment to delivering excellent service and meeting the evolving needs of our customers.
